Storyboard

A storyboard is a sequence of drawings, typically with some directions and dialogue, representing the shots planned for production. They include the following components:

  • Visual Scenes
    • Show the Setting
    • Show the Characters
    • Show the Events
    • Heads should be approximately the same size, in relation to the frame, as the final video will be

  • Blocking (Use arrows)
    • Show the movement of the characters
    • Show the movement of objects

  • Verbal Script / Notes
    • Runs alongside the storyboard
    • Gives a verbal reference for the storyboard
