Technical

  • .MP4 or .M4V
  • Size: 4GB max
  • Naming convention: FirstNameLastName_School_FilmTitle.mp4
    • Example: JohnDoe_Ramona_MyFilm.mp4

Content

  • Original Work
  • All music, images, titles, footage and other copyrighted material used in your submission MUST be properly licensed. You must have permission and/or the proper rights to all content submitted.
  • An Entrant is responsible to obtain all releases and consent necessary to permit the use and exhibition of the Entry by the Festival. The Festival reserves the right to request proof of these permissions.
  • All content must be High School appropriate
  • The Film Festival team reserves the right to switch your submission to a different category as they see fit.
  • Any film that includes main dialogue that is not English must be submitted with English subtitles.

Eligibility

  • The film must have been made in the 2019-2020 school year.
  • The film’s director(s) must have been a high school student located in Riverside county while filming the project.
  • Each film must be approved by a film instructor at your school before submission.
  • Film must be received by the contest organizers by the due date.
