STUDENT PRODUCTION TEAM
Producing a daily news broadcast is a massive operational effort that requires discipline, clear communication, and dependable student leadership. The RamTV Daily News cannot succeed without structure; when roles are unclear or responsibilities are missed, production breaks down under tight deadlines.
Every position within RamTV carries distinct, essential responsibilities. When every crew member steps up, masters their specific role, and holds themselves accountable, our newsroom functions like a professional media outlet. By doing your job with excellence, you directly contribute to a polished daily show that fulfills our primary mission: to inform, educate, and entertain the Ramona High School student body.

Production Crew
Production Crews are small teams of 3 to 4 students assigned by the Executive Producer to take full operational ownership of the daily news broadcast on designated days. The day before production, crew members pitch their ideas to the Executive Producer, who establishes the final segment lineup for that show. Team members fulfill essential studio roles—including Producer, Director, Technical Director, Editor, and On-Air Hosts, with students often stepping into multiple positions—to write intro and outro scripts, script dynamic segues between segments, edit the complete show, and return the studio workspace to broadcast readiness. By collaborating effectively and managing their assigned days, each production crew ensures that RamTV hits the air on time with a polished, professional broadcast.
